Forever Living Products FLP Scam? - Oh No!

As an independent distributor of Forever Living products in the UK, before anyone gets the wrong end of the stick, I think it is essential to understand how the FLP company operates before screeming 'Scam' or deeming the company to be unethical or even acting in an unprofessional manner:

Forever Living have chosen to distribute their aloe vera and bee products by network marketing, otherwise known as multi-level marketing i.e. through a network of independent businessmen and businesswomen who are self employed owners or distributors - a bit like a franchise. This means that independent business owners are responsible for their own part of the FLP business. Effectively each sale or puchase is a 'contract of sale' between the authorised FLP distributor and their customer, not between the FLP company and the customer. This is how contract law works in the UK when there is a third party involved.

Forever Living Products provides a fantastic business base and ongoing training for its authorised distributors, but by the nature of network marketing this means that, undoubtably, there may be unprofessional distributors opperating who may offer a less than perfect customer service, which sadly reflects badly on the company and ethical distributors.

It is the responsibility of the FLP authorised distributor to place the product order with the company who will then send out the products either to the customer directly (for orders over £50.00p) if that is what the distributor has requested, or alternatively via the distributor if he/she has agreed to deliver the products personally. which is how most Forever Living product distributors operate; providing a personal service to customers).

The Forever Living products themselves are some of the highest quality of their type available in the market today. You only have to try the products to discover this and the products really do have the potential to help people with sometimes quite debilitating health conditions. But here again, it is the responsibility of the distributor not to make any false or misleading claims, particularly curative in a medical respect. Essentially it is the distributor’s role tpo provide relavent information about the products, often by sharing personal experience of offering testimonials.
